Terms of Service

Effective 26 June 2026

These terms govern your use of iquipAr, an educational reference for how the Nigerian system of government works, available on the web and as an iOS app. By creating an account or using iquipAr, you agree to these terms.

What iquipAr is

iquipAr helps you read primary law and understand how government works, with answers traced to their sources. It is an educational tool for general understanding.

Not legal advice

iquipAr is not legal advice and is not a substitute for a qualified lawyer. Its answers are grounded in primary law and may still be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Do not rely on iquipAr for decisions with legal consequences. Always confirm with the primary source and, where it matters, a licensed legal professional.

Your account

You need an account to use the advisory and to read the corpus. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information, and use iquipAr only if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use iquipAr for any unlawful purpose, or to harm, harass, or mislead others;
  • attempt to break, overload, scrape in bulk, or circumvent the security of the service;
  • present iquipAr's output as professional legal advice; or
  • misrepresent the service or its answers.

Content and ownership

The text of the law is public. The way iquipAr selects, organises, and presents it, and the software itself, belong to us. The questions you ask remain yours; by using the advisory you let us process them to generate and store your answers (see our Privacy Policy).

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and the corpus is expanded and corrected over time. We try to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

No warranty

iquipAr is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, iquipAr or its answers.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from within the app, which removes your account and conversations. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of iquipAr, are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and you submit to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, note it in the app. Continuing to use iquipAr means you accept the updated terms.
