Effective 26 June 2026
iquipAr is an educational reference for how the Nigerian system of government works, available on the web and as an iOS app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Your account email. When you create an account, we store your email address so you can sign in. Sign-in is handled by Supabase (our authentication and database provider).
The questions you ask. When you use the advisory, the questions you type and the answers you receive are saved to your account so you can return to your conversations. You can delete a conversation at any time.
We do not collect your name, contacts, location, photos, or device identifiers, and we do not use any advertising or third-party tracking.
To answer a question, the text you submit is sent to the services that generate a grounded, cited answer: a language-model provider (via OpenRouter) and an embeddings provider (Voyage AI) to find the relevant parts of the law. These providers process your text only to return a result; we do not allow it to be used to train their models, and we never sell your data.
Your account and conversations are stored in our Supabase Postgres database. Access is protected by row-level security, so you can only read your own conversations. Connections are encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
Conversations are kept until you delete them. A deleted conversation is removed from view immediately and permanently purged shortly afterward. Your account email is kept until you ask us to delete your account.
You can delete individual conversations in the app at any time. To access or delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the address below and we will action it.
iquipAr is a general-audience educational tool and is not directed at children under 13.
iquipAr is for education and general understanding. Its answers are sourced to primary law, but they are not legal advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for a qualified lawyer.
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, note it in the app.
